We’re pleased to announce our provisional programme for G4J 2014 has now been published, and is available to view and download at aeme.org.uk/g4j/programme.
The aim of the conference is to provide relevant, useful and accessible clinical education related to the care of older people to a junior medical audience. The plenary sessions will cover the core sub-specialty areas of Geriatric Medicine, as well as how to approach the management of elderly patients in an acute setting. There will also be career development sessions in smaller groups, including how to successfully apply to specialty training, and how to approach being a Medical Registrar.
Those delegates who attended last year might notice a couple of familiar names on the programme, but the intention is not to merely repeat G4J 2013. Instead, we are trying to build on the most successful and well-received aspects of the first conference and help the whole programme evolve into an event that is genuinely interesting and useful, and which meets the needs of the audience and, ultimately, their patients.
